| Hey!!! I'm an intense female oboist who is a Junior in High School. I also have my own English Horn (Fossati) and my own oboe (Fox 400). I've made the 2001 and 2002 middle level WSMA honor's band, and the 2004 high school WSMA honor's orchestra. I am first chair of the latter one, which I am currently in. I have gotten an Exemplary Soloist Award through the WSMA solo/ensemble on my oboe solo (Sonata by Saint-Saens). Last May (2004) I was a featured soloist with the Red Cedar Symphony Orchestra. I also play with the Communiversity Band, Municiple Band, and our High School Band. I am currently giving piano lessons and babysitting for a means of income. I enjoy crochetting, rollerblading, running, biking, and snowboarding. Other instruments I play include clarinet, recorder, piano, organ, baritone, and tuba. My 3 music goals is to: 1) become solo oboist with a famous orchestra 2) become the main oboe professor of a music conservatory 3) become a professional doubler for musicals |
