Plant Inspection Engineer
Location : Obayied gas plant / Bed-3 Oil and gas plant.
Responsibilities are as the following:
* Act as authorized inspector in terms of applicable codes and carry out all inspection activates according to related international standards ASME, API, BS, NACE and etc. Also all activates shall confirm company specifications (Shell/ Bapetco).
*Carry out on stream and internal Inspection for all static equipments and feed back S-RBI and IMMPOWER with the inspection results to identify and motivate the next inspection.
*Maintain a filing system for all static equipment which contains information for the equipment tag number, location, details of design and engineering data sheet, design drawings, materials, initial inspection data, e.g. as-built wall thickness. Also during the life of the equipment, all the inspection activities as external and internal inspection, details of the failure together with reasons for failure, details of repairs, re-paintings, modifications, change duty etc.
*Reporting inspection activities to Asset Holder to inform him of the status of equipment integrity and recommendations for actions to maintain continuing integrity.
*On job training for the technicians to achieve a competent level.
*Certify safety relief valves and supervising lifting equipment test, re-certification, and colored code.
*Carrying out the commissioning inspection and reviewing the handover packages for new constructions, and new flow lines, etc.
*Carry out NDT inspection methods, which are radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), Liquid penetrante testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MT), visual testing (VT) and hydrostatic pressure testing.

QA/ QC Inspection Engineer
Location: Middle East oil refinery (Midor) / Middle East tanks and pipelines (Midtap)
Responsibilities were as the following:
*Prepare and follow up the quality control documents of the project, including all certificates, inspection plan, schedule for the welding and installation of piping above/under ground, structure steel, equipments, vessels, pumps, cylindrical tanks, spherical tanks and heat exchangers.
*Establishment of welding procedures specification (WPS) and the procedure qualification record (PQR) and the welders� qualification test in according of codes, standards, and specifications.
*Performing visual inspection, dimension check, fabrication, and erection check for steel structure, pipe spools, vessels, and tanks. Also, controls the welding process.
*Controlling the welding activities and repair percentage.
*Complete documentation for every step for above mentioned activities.
*Preparing QA/QC system to be followed to control fabrication, welding, and erection of piping and equipments and hydrostatic testing.
*R.T film interpretation, ultrasonic test, and dye Penetration test according to related codes and standards.
*Preparing and review the technical quality control documents for handover to the client.
Short term jobs:
With the same responsibilities stated before, I worked for short terms at the following:
1. Through First Engineering Co. (First) contract for the following:
*Crude oil tank maintenance and repair at East Zeit Petroleum Company ( ZEITCO) at Gabal EL-Zeit area (Zeit Bay ) .
*Off shore utility piping replacement at platform "B" at Suco (Suez oil company) Ras Fanar field.
2. Through ABB / Kahromica consortium at El-Korimat Power station for piping construction.
