          Mykal has most recently graduated from Genesee Community College.  After working for a year to save up some money his future plans include Boston's Berklee College of Music in the Fall of 2006
Mykal Ryan Klatt, 22 years old, accomplished in trumpet, music theory and guitar, is the "energy" of the band when OBLIVIOUS gets on stage!
Mykal took minimal guitar lessons and taught himself to play lead. His theory background and ability to hear chord changes, makes him an intriquet part of learning new music and composing original tunes.  Mykal is always ready to play, whether it's practice or a gig and is currently honing his skills at Roxy's in Batavia.  He's been playing country music out with his Dad's band for years now and loves to perform with them when Oblivious is not booked.  If he's not working, you'll usually find Mykal with guitar in hand!
