Pros: Excellent riffs, bassist offers unique bass slap to metal, great double bass drums, lead singer offers great vocals; he sings and offers blood curtling growls.
Cons: Interlude songs scattered throughout album are sometimes annoying.

Pros:  All songs can be favorites, singer/guitarist mixes in great vocals with great riffs and solos, lyrics and music are well orchestrated.
Cons:  None

Rating: 8   Favorite Song: Here to Stay

Pros:  Heavy and melodic riffs, songs are more complicated, lyrics more complicated, extra remix song at end of album is good ear candy, some of the best of their work.
Cons:  Singer often tries to sing softly, but ends up sounding like a girl.

Rating: 8   Favorite Song: Edgecrusher

Pros:  Great and heavy riffs, singer can bust out good vocals and extreme screams, drummer is extremely good at double bass drumming, their best album to date.
Cons:  Sometimes vocals don�t go with music; some songs seem off-note.
Linkin Park: Hybrid Theory37 Minutes 45 Seconds: 12 Tracks

Rating: 9   Favorite Song: Crawling

Pros:  All songs can be favorites, lead singer gives excellent vocals, both singers have different styles, but blend , guitar riffs are simple, but effective, all elements mix well together.
Cons:  Too damn short; needs to be longer.
Slipknot: Iowa66 Minutes 20 Seconds: 14 Tracks

Rating: 8   Favorite Song: Left Behind

Pros:  Everything is heavy, no rap, singer actually sings more instead of constant screaming, brutal lyrics, complicated music, and great for angry moods.
Cons:  Sometimes screams all the time on every song.
Marilyn Manson: Anti-Christ Superstar77 Minutes 18 Seconds: 16 Tracks

Rating: 9   Favorite Song: The Beautiful People

Pros: Very dark, atmospheric, first of a trilogy of albums representing a musical story, great riffs, and musical score is well orchestrated.
Cons:  Some lyrics are questionable and aren't strong, wasted time after track 16, worthless extra track.
Marilyn Manson: Holy Wood68 Minutes 9 Seconds: 19 Tracks

Rating: 10   Favorite Song: Target Audience

Pros:  Great production, riffs and acoustics blend, a dark mix between Anti-Christ Superstar and Mechanical Animals, dark and brilliant lyrics.
