Slip Away
She fills my thoughts.
With blood staind on my walls.
From all the times you hurt
and all the times you let me fall.
Empty halls fill this place.
Life decaying without a trace,
of love and nourishment,
only hate and lust.
I can't live with all this broken trust.
Someday I will find all these lies
behind the shades that blind my eyes.
My heart is broken by her laugh.
Cry alone in her wrath.
I touched her lung to let her breathe.
I touched her mind so she could bleed.
Atlas I know what went wrong.
Broken promises of something strong.
As I cut my wrist today.
I hope she forgives me
if I slip away.
