todays story is about friends... friends are cool. recently i've been making friends with alot of people and decided that i want you all to know them too, so i added a friends page with links to bands that i've come accross and had the pleaseure to have met. so, you really need to go check them out, the only way a scene is going to grow in this area is if we all pitch in (the bands, and the kids who want to hear good music) and give our support to everyone. so go to the shows, stay for all the bands (that goes for musicians too...) be nice to the bands (even if they are not your absolute favorite) and at least act interested, it'll make the people on stage feel alot less nervous and they'll probably put on a much better show, and want to put on more shows... solidarity. spread the word. man, i'm gonna have to start typing smaller... i'm gonna run out of space.

this is gonna be a place for band news and everything you never cared about hearing about our band. kind of a a journal/news destination for all your silent floor needs.
so basically right now, i'm doing alot of letter writing, trying to get us in relationships with different promoters and local bands. so far i've sent out letters to a prometer in redding and in ashland, and it looks like i may be seeing the promoter in Redding on thursday and we may work together in the future. aslo i've been in contact with the band so far away in ashland oregon, and possibly around Novemeber time we may be playing there. also pray for us as i've written Number One Gun about playing with them in october, though no one has written back from there camp yet. thanks guys, keep us in prayer if you could. just that we'd make the right desicions and above all focus on doing what God's will is for this band. |
