Power Management Issues:


Standby / Wake / Hibernate

        Certain devices may not "wake" after the system has been in
        standby mode. It is best not to use system standby or hibernate
        mode on any system with these problems.

        The system may require up to three "waking events" prior to returning
        from power save mode. This may include moving the mouse, clicking the
        mouse, and pressing a key on the keyboard.

How to Disable Power Management in Win98/Me/XP

	Click on start, run, type in MSConfig
        press ok
        Click on the "startup" tab
        Uncheck "LoadPowerProfiles" <There will be two occurances of this in the list>
        Click Apply, then OK
        Click yes to restart the machine

        You may wish to shutdown and restart your machine several times
        to verify that the system is shutting down properly.
