Click on start, choose run, type in regedit and click 'OK'.

This one is for an item that comes up at startup, but it is
not listed in the win.ini, thesystem.ini, or the startup folder.

1. Click on edit. 
2. Choose find.
3. Type in 'regedit'
4. The path for this folder is :
     Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run 
5. Delete the listed file(s) that is causing the issue.
6. Close the registry and reboot the system.
