PCI WINMODEM HACK
____________________________________________________________________________
1.Boot into Safe Mode, Remove the modem from Device Manager.

2.Go to Find\Files\Folders\ and delete the Following files. 
        
A. turbovbf.vxd
B. turbovcd.vxd
C. winmodem.vxd
D. wmdll.dll
E. wmexe.exe (Okay if not found)
F. wmldr.vxd
G. wmpass.vxd
H. Do a search for U.S robotics and delete all references
   ( it must be U.S Robotics to work properly)
I. Dpwave.inf

3. Open Regedit and delete this Key. 

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ENUM\PCI\VEN_12B9&DEV_1006&005D12B9&REV_00

4. Also go into:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

   select Software, find the U.S robotics key and DELETE.

5. Do a search for the following files in the registry:

   TURBOVBF.VXD
   TURBOVCD.VXD

   Delete them.

6. Search for

   Turbovbf.vxd
   Turbovcd.vxd

   in the System.ini and Delete any references to these files.
