| Darryl Morris is a lieutenant for the San Francisco Police Department and was Andy's partner before he died. For many years, Morris tried to protect the sisters and help them when it comes to matters involving the police. But when one magical encounter put him on death row, Darryl decided that he was finished helping the Charmed Ones. |

| Just before Andy was killed, he asked Morris to help protect the sisters in case anything happened to him and Morris covered for the sisters when Andy died. At first Morris protected the sisters without knowing their secret, but when a hired assassin tried to kill the sisters they had to reveal to Darryl that they were witches. Morris tries to help the sisters knowing as little information as possible about the supernatural goings-on. However, he began to come to the sisters for help with some of his cases when they seem to be connected with the supernatural |
| Morris did his best to help the sisters, giving them warning when the police or the FBI become suspicious about the sisters or advice about how to resolve the "mysterious disappearances" that seem to surround the sisters' lives. When Cole became human, Morris also helped protect him when he ran into trouble with the police and could not produce a valid ID. He and the sisters grew closer over the years and he and his wife Sheila and their two children, Michael and Darryl Jr., socialized with the Halliwells from time to time. |
