Practical training (MGT3998) is one of among the many prerequisites of graduation, to be fulfilled by all students of KENMS pursuing either a major in Business Administration studies or Accountancy.

As for me, Alhamdullillah I was lucky enough to be offered an opportunity to fulfill the said graduation requirement in one of the many students’ dreamed corporation; ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc. (EMEPMI) situated at Menara ExxonMobil, Kuala Lumpur City Center, 50088 Kuala Lumpur.

ExxonMobil is not only amongst the biggest multinational corporations that have invested in Malaysia, it is also the world’ largest energy provider and ranked first in the Fortune 500 companies list.  In addition, ExxonMobil Corp is the world’s largest publicly traded Oil Company and also the industry leader in each of its core businesses and has an unmatched assortment of proprietary technologies aimed at increasing the productivity of its assets and employees. The company conducts business in almost 200 countries and territories around the globe, and has established a new definition for world-class scale and efficiency. It explores for oil and natural gas on six of the seven continents (except Antarctica).  For more information about the company, you can log on to http://www.exxonmobil.com/corporate/

The building of ExxonMobil can be easily recognized by it brown marble colored, with a huge ‘ExxonMobil’ signboard lighted by red neon, located in the KLCC prime area, across the Petronas Twin Tower.

During the internship duration, I was assigned to the department Human Resources Department under the kind guidance of Puan Azrina Wan Hassan, a HR Client Consultant, her secretary Puan Mariyah Dona Mustafa and other ExxonMobil kind hearted staffs. THANK YOU! (“,)
