The arm band number and attention belts are used to teach the dog to focus up at you. You start the teaching by wearing the belt with a treat on the end of the nylon bait stick and having the dog on leash. The dog quickly learns that a treat can be theirs by looking up and reaching up when allowed to do so. Once the dog has mastered the attention belt level it is time to move up to the arm band hold level which also contains a baremoveable bait stick. Both of these tools keep the motivator in a stable position while you heel. Next you shorten the bait stick until it disappears, and the food or toy comes out from behind the arm band Holder. A plastic tab and six bait sticks are included. |
