| WAVE PARK ACCOMMODATION: has 3 bedrooms downstairs. 2 bedrooms upstairs. The top priority was for all the accommodation to have a great view of Hideaways breaking. Mission accomplished! This year we will be accommodating 12 surfers at a time, 4 per bedroom. All of the materials used for the house are from the islands except the screws, bolts, nails and concrete used for the foundations and joining. All labor to build the house was by local people. Keeping the expenditures local is one of the primary goals of WPM.

Immerse yourself in splendid isolation on one of the most desolate and unspoiled regions in the Indonesian archipelago. Hidden among the palms on this remote island are just 6 traditional Mentawai �umas� offering solitude and luxury. A maximum of 18 people � 12 surfers are luxuriously secluded in spacious, individual �umas� whose architecture and overall design are dictated by local Mentawai traditions and style. Back to Padang: Following Friday: Kandui - Padang Mentawai Express Ferry departs Kandui at roughly 10:00am and arrives at Padang at roughly 4:00pm in the afternoon - another overnight stay at the Bumiminang is required. Saturday: you will have to overnight again at Buminang hotel Out There: Monday - Following Friday: Kandui Resort In total you have 10 full days at the resort plus 2 (1/2) days. 10 nights out at the resort - 2 nights at the Bumiminang in Padang.
