THE DINOSAUR
Mrs. Smith had been given the honor of being a chaperone for a bus load of high school students who were going to Portland to see one of the exhibitions in the city's museum. It was a dinosaur that stood nineteen feet tall and was forty five feet long. This is what Mrs. Smith told her husband, John, and naturally he passed all this information on to us.

According to Mrs. Smith when they arrived at the museum everyone was stricken with awe by the size of this ancient predator.

There was a man standing in front of the hugh skeleton and this knowledgeable gent was paid to answer all questions asked by the visitors. Everyone was interested in the size of the teeth, how fast the animal ran, what it ate, and all those important things. Finally one of the students asked how old the dinosaur was.

"I can say with some certainty that this dinosaur is seventy million, four years, and sixteen days old," the gent replied. The students took the man at his word, but Mrs. Smith was a little skeptical.

"How can you be so positive about the age?" she asked, and the man replied,

"When I came to work here he was seventy million years old and I have worked here for four years and sixteen days."
