Pax is a natural at herding, fast in agility
and does obedience to please me. She is a fun dog to train
and she taught me much about positive training. She is truly
my dog.
When we left the USA in 2001, Pax was on her way to her
MACH and higher levels in herding and obedience. Although this is now not meant to be, Pax
is still a Champion in my heart. While she may never get another title (as
in England, these do not exist) she is still the greatest dog to show and
train. At 12 years old, Pax is retired from agility. But I still love to run her in the occasional veteran class and
she still barks her way around every course.
A few of her achievements are:
- #1 Starter Agility Sheltie and the #15th top
rated Novice Agility Dog(all breeds) in England for 2002
- Qualified and showed in agility at Crufts in 2004.
This makes us the first American Dog and handler team
to qualify and show at Crufts.
- Winning two classes of 60 + dogs to move up into the
Senior Level of British Agility.
- #8 ranked Top novice agility dog (all breeds) for
2003.
- Qualifed and competed in agility at for Crufts 2005.
- Four more 1st places in 2004 put her into the elite
ADVANCED class in British Agility.
