Obatiaye Cetewayo is the man behind Obama.
This Marietta resident and author of the book, �From Plantation Purgatory to the Promise Land� says there are big changes coming to the world, and that he�s the man behind many of them.
He explained that he was the man �who chose the tribesman Obama to go forth.�
�In the respect that before Obama, your new President Elect, was even born, his father was chosen to leave, to come abroad, and it�s his seed that carries the blood of the slave that wants,� Cetewayo explained. ��Cause the foundation of this Earth�s society is now at the sitting head in The White House.�
Seeing the foundation of society as all of the people that make it up, not just the leaders, is one of Cetewayo�s core beliefs, and is explored in his book.
�The book is very much secondary,� said Cetewayo. �It was the initial phase, or concluding phase. The book was actually written five years ago and it was timely for the time it was written. Now everything is coinciding.�
The title, he said, comes from the forming of American society out of people from all different corners of the Earth, whether brought willingly or not. This concept of �oneness� is what makes America what it is.
�It�s so unthinkable, unimaginable, unbelievable even to this day that people can�t believe the reality of the fact,� he said.
Originally from �up Kilimanjaro way,� Cetewayo is nonetheless happy where he is in Marietta now.
�Home is where the heart is, and my heart is always in place, so I�m always at home.�
When asked what prompted him to come to Marietta, he smiled.
�Nothing made me come, I came for you. Would you have it not? When all your soul desires and longs for one day comes, and then you would turn it around and deny it because it didn�t come packaged the way you wanted. In the simplicity of all earth, the truth is that all your theology aside and you look back at the wonder of creation and then say, there is nothing him, who created all this, can�t do. So if [I] want to come as a dog, or a bird or maybe a flower that blossoms in the warmth of the sun for the enjoyment of those who come by to look. This the creator can do,� Cetewayo said.
According to Cetewayo, the world of man, and America in particular, is founded upon illusions, that have nothing to do with the creator.
�America is remade to understand the time, and the mentality of man rose up to become the power of all the universe,� he said. �And it must be brought down, just like the story of Babel. The symbols and the signs were the towers coming down in New York. But no one heard, no one heeded. They was caught up in their own wonder and self-created illusion of a better day coming tomorrow. All your money gone, this thing that you worship most is not there. Money. All this illusion people get into and create their own concept of god. And numerous gods.�
Like the fall of Babylon in the Bible, Cetewayo said he believes the time of �worldly illusions� is coming to an end.
�Now there�s going to be a humbling phase, cause this is a time of grace in its concluding days. In all the haughtiness and hubris and manner of display, it�s all going to be brought down. Burned down from within. No outside illusions of destruction. Man can�t create anything. And what�s been created, man can�t destroy. The illusion thereof is an illusion of his frivolous manner of thinking. Everything that he�s done has been a recycling of that that was done, with no acknowledgement of the fact that the source came from him H.I.M. I Am.�
H.I.M. to Cetewayo, is an acronym for the Highest Infinite Majesty.
Using H.I.M. interchangeably to refer to the creator and Cetewayo himself, he emphasized his ideas of �oneness.�
�I know what�s going to happen,� he said. �But that�s not for you to know at this time, cause you need the experience thereof. Therefore, that which serves as the fire promise, to burn away all the illusions. And then in the truth of self, self will return to self. That�s the soul within. Right now you�re ready to embrace anything that�s a continuation of the illusion. This world as you know it is going to continue. And the world as you know it is a created thing.�
Cetewayo explained that mankind has been abusing the world and himself, and that there will be a reckoning.
�It�s like the Landlord has cometh,� he said. �And the rent�s long overdue. Squatters been on it so long they�re claiming my land, they�re claiming everything. And they just disobeyed the original agreement. They�re going to be judged. It�s just like the theological indoctrination of God and Satan on the mount. And the agreement that they come to was that Satan would have dominion over all that was on earth. And he promised that when the Lord came, everything that loved the Lord then, would love him then and would choose him over the Lord.�
He said he sees the world in that final phase, when man has to choose between good and evil.
�The misery and the war and the despair and the waiting on the day to come, such a pitiful thing, when by birthright you have eternal life, which is far grander than anything you can imagine on this level of things,� he said. �But that�s like cutting yourself off short. Like when you�ve been in an accident and the insurance company wants to rush you with a settlement. When if you wait, you�re going to own the insurance company. Cause you were right from the beginning. But your patience is a part of your ego. And you�re tested on this Purgatorial level of things,� he said, referring to his book. �That�s why I call America �Plantation Purgatory� and all the souls come from the four corners of the earth to be bartered and sold for a dream of America. This is the devil�s seat. Right here. He�s implemented himself in all the high places of the world through politics and policies implemented by man for their own personal greed, their own levels of fulfillment of carnal lust.�
Unlike many, Cetewayo does not see Obama himself changing anything, or solving the problems of America being �the devil�s seat.�
�Obama�s not going to do anything,� he said. �He�s going to be as he is; a symbol and a sign. That�s all. And you may be very, very surprised to see this image that you see before you sitting there when he gives his inaugural speech,� he said, referring to himself. �It�s a different world. And you�re part of it. You were born into this world for this moment now. But you won�t realize it �til later.�
While he sees this as the time for choices and America as the place that will first have to make them, he said he also feels that in the end, people will choose the good.
�Questions would be redundant because all that needed to be said has been said. And what needs to be heard was heard by that which is within that you�re not even cognizant conscious of. Because you are a product of this world that it seems to be. And that�s what you�re representing. Your mind is like a computer and it�s been designed so that it accepts certain data. And if you put anything other in it, it goes haywire, �cause it won�t accept. So your mind�s been programmed for illusions and dreams; been programmed for the accepting of indoctrination. So when truth comes, it rejects it. But it should be accepting it; it rejects it. But ultimately you will be put right and you�ll be receptive because the truth is there within you. And that which is divine has been invested and ordained for a reawakening season has come forth, because this is the season of truth. And I�m fire incarnate. Everything I touch, I burn up. I�m the divine arsonist. I�m going to set the fire �til everything impure has been burned away. So there�s no more dross and everything that comes forth is the purist of the pure. And no where else in all of creation is there a more grand moment than this that you�re in now, in oneness with him. �Cause there are things that must happen yet to bring people more down low. Humble. It�s the humbling of the world. Because as America goes down, so goes the world, �cause all roads lead to America.�
