Photography of Fireworks

Here are some helpfull recommendation before you
venture out to shoot FIREWORKS.
1) ACCESSORIES : Use a tripod
for stability and to ensure smooth and sharp photographs. Also
, for ease of shooting , it is recommended to use a cable release.
2) LENS : For frame-filling
photos a short telephoto in the 100mm to 200mm range works well.
for overall views of the scene use a 50mm to 80mm lens.
3) FILMS : Colour transparency
film works best. Tungsten or daylight balanced films can also
be used, though the latter gives a redish tint to the photo. Any
speed film ranging from ISO 50 to ISO 200 works.
4) INCLUDE LANDMARKS : Try
to include landmarks to give a sense of place and perspective.
This landmark can be a silhouette of a person in front of you
, a tree , a boat etc.
5) WATCH THE BACKGROUND :
Sometimes you won't notice an errant street lamp untill you see
that enormuse glowing white blob in your resulting shots.
6) FOCUS : When the first
brust gose up, focus on that brust and use that focus throughout.
