I am tremendously fond of lizards and birds, so it would stand to reason that I have them in my home.
The models in the first series of pictures are (in order of their ages): Sparky (male), Yoshi (female), Snoopy (female), Dexter(female), and Dewey (male).  They are Water Dragons--sometimes called Chinese Water Dragons, though most are from Thailand or Vietnam.  They are omnivorous agamids with personalities similar to that of the average dog.  They are arboreal (tree climbers) and generally inhabit river bank areas in the wild.  They live about ten years, and make awesome pets.  They don't shed hair or bark or chew up your shoes, and they don't ask for much in return for the hours of entertainment they give. I lost these guys in a divorce, and I miss them quite a bit.

I've included a shot of Jeckle the Marbled Gecko (gekko marmaratus).  He was a shy pet, and very hard to feed or care for.  As a member of the Tokay family, he had a tendency to bite--hence, one picture. He and his mate died with little notice, about a year apart. He died while in the care of my ex, who kept him.

Next, a few shots of my baby, Pudge.  He is a desert-dwelling Uromastyx maliensis.  He's a vegetarian, and very mild-mannered and cute.  I have heard wildly ranging numbers on his life expectancy, from 8 years to 50. He is a complete joy to have as a pet. The pictures range from when I first brought him home, to about 2 years of age.
Lastly, some shots of my maroon-bellied conure, Sweetpea. She was a rotten little bastard sometimes, and sometimes very sweet. She had a real temper, and was very vocal about it. She could say a few short phrases, but mostly, she just screamed and cursed under her breath like Yosemite Sam. I gave her back to the lady who raised her, and I hear she settled down with a nice male conure.
