Residential Kitchen Fire

500 Block Firethorn Drive

January 6 -- In the evening of Jan 6, units were dispatched to a reported kitchen fire in the 500 Block  of Firethorn Drive.  Companies 6 & 5 were dispatched with C-63 (Capt. Hewitt) arriving on scene quickly finding  a one story residential with nothing showing.  The occupants advised that they believed the fire to be out.  E62 arrived shortly after and confirmed that the fire had been put out using the sink but there was minor extension and a smoke condition.  Command held E62 for minor overhaul and clear smoke.  Units cleared after 25 mins.
