Natural Gas Inside Structure

April 7 – On Sunday morning, units from Companies 6, 5, & 1 were dispatched to a report of a smell of natural gas inside the building.  C61 (Asst. Chief Ramsey) arrived on scene and established command.  Crews from E61 and E52 investigated inside with C62 having interior command while E12 had water supply if needed.  Crews isolated the problem to a malfunctioning heating unit in the rear of the store.  The unit was disconnected and management was advised to contact HVAC techs.
