1968 Gibson Falcon all-tube amplifier with tube-driven reverb and tube-driven tremelo. 12" speaker, solid pine cabinet, dual channel, multiple inputs. Made by Gibson electronics in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The cabinet here and here is in true EXC condition. Even the control panel is virtually perfect. The original, heavy-duty leather handle looks new! There are only 2 nicks on the cabinet, but were so small that I could not get them to show up on the pictures. There is a small pick on the speaker grill, but no tears, no holes, and no repairs.

Completely re-tubed with NOS US tubes. The EL84's are a matched set of Sylvania's made for Baldwin. Completely original power transformer, speaker transformer, reverb transformer, and capacitors. Only 2 knobs on the front and, possibly, the speaker are not original.

Has original, perfect reverb/tremelo pedal that fits into a slot in the back of the amp. Amp still has original back panels, too!

So, how's the tone, you might ask. The amp plays very clean with little to no breakup probably because of the dual channels. The amp is just right for bedroom practice. The bass and treble controls work extremely well and make a huge change in the tone when you set them. The tremelo is excellent being highly customizable with frequency and depth controls from barely noticeable to overwhelming. The reverb is not real strong, modeling room reverb more than hall reverb.
