Hey, Thanks for stoping by the home of fun patch trading. The OASPO was created at the 2002 National Order of the Arrow Confrence when Three scouts of Catawba Lodge 459, observed verterian patch traders ripping off the younger/ new patch traders. It was in thier defense Steven Yamada (Founder), Frank Sturges (Co-Founder)and Thomas Cox (Co-Founder/ Sr. Vice President)decided to start an orginization to put the FUN back in Patchin! Thats right it says Patchin. We had diffrent ways to gey really cool patches including, "Give a Quote, Get a Patch" and the ever popular "Shake my hand and tell my tour name and Get a Patch". There were many other ideas following these and all of them were hits. See they did not want scouts to have to start their collections the way they did by spending alot of $$$, so they helped out the SCOUT Way.
We are Currently looking to expand this Orginization into all the sections of the OA and eventually in each lodge, but we have to start small. If you are interested in helping us open a new Section OASPO please e-mail us at [email protected].
For the 2004 NOAC the OASPO will be creating their very own Lodge Flap so that members will stand out. Flaps will cost 5.00 a peice and depending on number of ordered we may reduce the price of that. We are now looking for ideas for the flap so please e-mail them to us. If yours is choosen then you will recive one for free.
