The Special Olympics.
On the 21st of June, the Special Olympics start,
All the games are divided in parts,
Running, swimming and basketball too,
Everyone is trying to get through.
People come from different places,
There are so many different faces,
This is a wonderful thing
There is also some singing.
Everyone's there to win,
Everyone's there to try.
It spreads a bit of happiness to every girl and boy

The Special olympics is the place to be.
Lots of fun for the family,
with lots of events for us to see.
People come from far and wide
To stand together side by side,
And hold their heads up high with pride.
Basketball, swimming and gymnastics
To name but a few
These amazing people will show us what they can do
Come and see them play their sport
I'm sure they will love your support
