From the Pastor:
A warm welcome to all who are worshiping with us today.
Today is a special day as we pause to give thanks to God for His goodness to us during the past year supplying all our needs.  There will be an opportunity during the service to bring non-perishable food items to the front as an offering.  These will be donated to the Foodbank where they will be passed on to those less fortunate in our community.   Tonight we will meet at Shirley Ninds to pray for the life and work of this fellowship - you are most welcome to join us.

Beginning this morning, at the end of each of our Sunday morning services we will have 4 people (two teams of two) who will come to the front of the church.  They will stand somewhere near the pulpit.  If you would like prayer for anything at all, please approach one of them.

This morning you should have received a donation envelope from the Christian Broadcasting Association.  We encourage you to prayerfully consider what you can do to support this very worthwhile outreach into our community Easter weekend.

On Wednesday March 20 we will have our church Quarterly Meeting here in the church.  Please make an effort to be here to talk and share how the Fellowship is going.  Please bring along ideas you may have for outreach into the community.  We will also be sharing what we feel is the next step for the development of our church property.  The minutes of the previous meeting are on the noticeboard.
On Thursday 21 March I will be meeting with the Leadership Team at Geraldine Baptist.  Please remember this church in your prayers as they seek Gods vision for their future.

We are currently looking for a Social Convener to plan regular social events for the church family.  If this is something you feel you could help with, would like to be part of a team planning these events, or would like more information see Bruce.

On Sunday March 24, Janet Calder will be preaching, we will then gather at Alister and Janets for a shared BBQ lunch.  Please bring meat, salads and drink to share as well as your own seating or blanket.  We will gather for prayer at Shirley Ninds at 7 p.m.

The Team Leaders will meet on Wednesday 27 March.

On Thursday March 28, 10 a.m. we will have our first midweek service to suit those who appreciate a quieter style with more hymns.  Although we wont be able to park in the WINZ carpark I will leave the back door to the church unlocked in case people want to park on Coquet Street.  The service will conclude with a cup of tea.  There may be friends or family you would like to invite.

On Good Friday, March 29, 10 a.m. we will gather in St Lukes Church (Itchen Street) where we will begin our Good Friday Pilgrimage to St Pauls (Coquet Street) for a short service at approximately 10.45 a.m.  There will be a cup of tea to follow the service.

Easter Sunday we have a Family Service here in the church at 10 a.m.  At 7 p.m. we will meet for prayer at Shirley Ninds place.
GIRLS BRIGADE has its Support Committee AGM on Tuesday 19th March at 7.30 p.m. in the Church Lounge.  Please pray for us and think about coming as we have some very important decisions to make.  Sue Avis
