From the Pastor:
A warm welcome to all who are worshiping with us today. We trust this mornings service is inspirational and challenging for you.

We meet at Shirley Ninds home Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. to pray for the life and work of this fellowship, and would love your fellowship.

Many thanks to those who have given towards Robyns airfare home.  Currently we are only about $1,000 short of our target of $5,500.  She is planning to return to Oamaru at the end of June this year.  We rejoice with her in the news that her heart has had a partial healing (see email on back wall).  We will continue to believe with her for full healing.

Unfortunately our Divorce Care Course due to start on March 7 is full.  If you are interested in attending or know someone who is you can still give us your name as there may be a cancellation.

Alec Clarke is keen to start some kind of group for our men - but cant do it on his own.  If you have any ideas or would like to help see Alec.

If you would like to be Baptised or would like more information please see Bruce.

Heinz and June Schtork will be starting a new Alpha group after the April school holidays.  Please remember this in your prayers and begin thinking now who you would like to invite.
As Girls Brigade starts its new year please pray for the leaders as we look for a new chaplain to join our team.  A male or female or two people.  Someone to:
1. Work alongside and support the captain
2. Share in the devotional roster
3. Be a confidante to leaders and girls if needed
4. A regular prayer partner to me

Please ring me if more details would be helpful.    Sue Avis 434 9164

Jesus is our DWELLING PLACE.  He is our home, our refuge, our habitation, our pasture.  In Him we are established and can know the security of firm limits.  Our home in Him can never be torn away.  He says.....I have prepared a place for you.  It is a place of rest where we can sit together and enjoy a fine meal.  Be with Me in this place often during your day.  I call you home......

Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.  Before the mountains were born, Or Thou dist give birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.   Psalm 90:1, 2
I will be travelling to Timaru once a month to meet with a few others to give guidance to the fellowship at Geraldine which has just called a new pastor.  Please pray for this fellowship as it seeks to re-establish itself.

Dave and Joy Warren have been our co-ordinators for meals on wheels when it is our turn twice a year.  Unfortunately they are unable to continue in this important community ministry.  If you are able to help in this area or have ideas please give me a ring.

On Tuesday February 26 I will be in Christchurch with a group set up to help us move on, following our church review last year.
