| From the Pastor: A warm welcome to all who are worshiping with us today. This morning we have a special presentation from the children. Many thanks to Fleur and all who have helped her in putting this together for us. This will be followed with a cup of tea in the hall. Are you interested in doing some kind of deeper Biblical studies but don�t want to leave North Otago? There is now available from Carey Baptist College 25 courses offered by Distance Learning. If you are interested I have left a few leaflets on the table in the foyer. If there is more than one person we may be able to form some kind of small group to encourage each other so see me before enrolling. Calling all intercessors: There is to be a combined churches meeting to encourage all intercessors to pray for our region. This is a supper meeting and is at the Union Parish Church at 7 p.m. on Sunday 9th December (tonight). Please bring a plate. For more information contact Janet Calder. Pastoral Care: We are hoping to set up teams to be involved in visiting people on a regular basis. This is not social visiting but pastoral care where needs are being met. | Last Sunday you should have received a letter from me inviting you to join with us for a special day of prayer and fasting this week. There are extra copies in the foyer if you didn�t get a copy. These are important issues for this fellowship so I would encourage you to spend extra time praying over them. If you have never spent time fasting I would encourage you to begin as it is one way God has given us to get closer to Him. It will be lovely to have Robyn Couper home with us next year.
