From the Pastor:

A warm welcome to all who are worshiping with us today.  Last weekend approximately 70 people were at Camp Iona for the weekend.  We wish to thank all of you who prayed for the camp as it was a precious time for us all, especially Sunday morning when God visited us in a very special way.  A special thanks to Steve for all his work in making it happen and Robyn Bradley for all her work in getting the food together.

As part of our worship today we will be sharing Communion together and following the service there will be an opportunity given for anyone who would like to receive prayer for healing or any area of their lives.  Tonight at 7 p.m. we will meet for prayer for the life and work of this fellowship at Shirley Ninds.

Coming Events:

This Tuesday, Gaynor, Janet, Sean and I will be in Timaru meeting with Pastors and spouses from other Baptist churches in the South Canterbury area.

On Sunday October 21 I will be taking the service at Iona Home at 2.15 p.m.  Please remember this in your prayers.  We will be gathering for prayer at Shirley Ninds at 7 p.m. to pray for the ongoing work of this fellowship.

On Wednesday, October 24, the Team Leaders will meet.
