Financial Report Nov 06 to May 07 The clubs accounts for the year show a distinct improvement on previous seasons. The club made an operating profit of almost �250,000 for the first time. The reason for this lies in the fact that the club has set strict limits on quality of training staff so that the club is not running finances at a loss. This allowed the club to run at a break even nature for the season. However, it did allow for a small profit at year end. However, the club made an overall loss of around �250,000 due to the huge amount of ground work being carried out. The club had to balance all areas to make this loss as small as possible. In the end, this was a success due to the relatively small loss made by the club in the face of massive expenditure. In terms of growth, the clubs assests rose from �47.7million ot �49.9million representing a 5% growth for the club since last season. |
