  • 1910: Alerts lose Leader-Post Trophy to St. Lambert's, 4-3. Tigers lose Grey Cup to U of Toronto Varsity Blues, 16-7.
  • 1911: Petrolia win Leader-Post Trophy from Royal Military-Kingston, 27-20.
  • 1912: Alerts win Leader-Post Trophy from Ontario Argo College, 13-7. Alerts win Grey Cup from Toronto Argonauts, 11-4.
  • 1913: Tigers win Grey Cup from Parkdale Canoe Club, 44-2.
  • 1914: The Hamilton Alerts and the Hamilton Tigers amalgamate playing under the name Tigers.
  • 1915: Tigers win Grey Cup from Toronto Rowing Athletic Association, 13-7.
  • 1927: Tigers lose Grey Cup to Toronto Balmy Beach Beachers, 9-6.
  • 1928: Tigers win Grey Cup from Regina Roughriders, 30-0.

  • 1944: Flying Wildcats lose Grey Cup to Montreal St. Hyacinth-Donnacona Navy, 7-6.
  • 1946: Tigers win Leader-Post Trophy East from Montreal NDG, 22-1.
  • 1947: Tigers lose Leader-Post Trophy to Vancouver Blue Bombers, 19-8.
  • 1948: The Hamilton Wildcats join the IRFU to replace the The Hamilton Tigers who joined the Ontario Rugby Football Union. Wildcats lose Leader-Post Trophy to Saskatoon Hilltops, 14-10.
  • 1949: Wildcats win Leader-Post Trophy from Vancouver Blue Bombers, 14-11.
  • 1950: Tiger Cats win Leader-Post Trophy from Vancouver Blue Bombers, 14-5. The Hamilton Tigers and the Hamilton Wildcats amalgamate to form the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the IRFU, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats leave Hamilton Amateur Athletic Association or Triple AAA Grounds and start play in Hamilton Civic Stadium, soon to be Ivor Wynne Stadium.

  • 1953: Tiger Cats win Grey Cup from Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 12-6.

  • 1978: The Stoney Creek Patriots join the Northern Football Conference. The Oakville Longhorns join the NFC. Stoney Creek Patriots win Plaunte Trophy from Etobicoke Argonauts, 10-7.
  • 1979: Stoney Creek Patriots win Plaunte Trophy from Sault Steelers, 21-14.
  • 1980: Stoney Creek Patriots lose Plaunte Trophy to Sault Steelers, 10-6. Hurricanes lose Armadale Cup to Regina Rams, 26-24. Tiger Cats lose Grey Cup to Edmonton Eskimos, 48-10.
  • 1981: Stoney Creek Patriots win Plaunte Trophy Twin from Sudbury Spartans, 38-24. Hurricanes lose Armadale Cup to Regina Rams, 46-24.
  • 1982: The Stoney Creek Patriots changed into Hamilton Wildcats who join the NFC. Wildcats lose Plaunte Trophy to Sudbury Spartans, 14-7.
