The Ding Darling sanctuary, open most of the week except Fridays, is located on the eastern half of Sanibel Island.
The Corkscrew Swamp is about 20 minutes east of The Tamiami Trail northeast of Naples.
Disney and Universal are located in Orlando, to the southwest of town. Universal can take several days and Disney can easily take up 3 to 5 days.
