Welcome to the Oak Hill Ranch Annex, or as we like to call it "Dizzy Daisy Farm", where everyone is running in circle!!! The annex is a 5 acre smallholding, which once was a part of a land grant owned by Joy's great great grandfather. He came to Bedias, Texas back in 1836 with his family (walking behind as his daddy drove). He had 14 children, and the grant was split among his children (when they reached the marrying age of 21). Much of the land was purchased by Jerry Shaw, Joy's step grandfather (and the man who raised Joy's father and uncle as his |

own). The annex is a part of land that had been passed down through Joy's cousins' family and was bought by her grandmother, when her cousin was forced to part with it. Grandma Syble is no longer with us, and after watching the land be misused for several years, it finally passed back to Joy's mother (who lives on Oak Hill Ranch, up on the hill) and Joy and Evan are now happy to raise their growing family on Grandma's little annex. |

Our beloved barnyard busybody has gone missing. We are very concerned that something big enough to carry off our beloved basketball of a pet came so close to the house, and we will miss her beyond measure. Poor Dumpster. |
