| Troy De Roche (Blackfeet) grew up on the reservationin Heart Butte, Montana where he was surrounded by family artisans who instilled an appreciation of traditional art foms. He has carried this respect of tradition with him and individually handcrafts his flutes-- in keeping with the old ways--gaining worldwide recognition for the quality craftsmanship and clear tones of his instruments. Troy has performed throughout the United States and Europe. |
| Liz De Roche (Metis) has been honoring her heritage since childhood through her beadwork and storytelling. She was selected by the BBC's prestigious World Service as one of five featured storytellers from around the world. Liz colaborated with husband Troy in making their album, First Mother that received a NAMMY nomination in 2000. |
