In an email dated January 3, 2002

Dan's mom has released this message to the O-Town fans:

"Dear O-Town fans,

As the new year begins, it seems like a good time for me to be the next O-Town

Mom to chime in with my thanks. With someone special's very kind assistance, I'm

posting this at Destination O-Town, but please know it is most definitely meant

for ALL of the O-Town fans, fansites, and clubs who have been so incredibly

supportive to the boys and their loved ones this year. I have so enjoyed meeting

many of you this year and getting to know some of you as well.

I hope you all know how very important you are. As the boys have said so many

times, they don't make music for the critics. They do it because they love it,

of course, but most importantly, they do it for YOU. They've been working really

hard to bring that music to you on their first (and soon to be second!) album,

on the radio, in TV appearances, and in concert. And you've never let them down.

Wherever they were, you were there! You are without a doubt the most dedicated

fans in the world and they are blessed to have you.

As blessed as they are to have you, we their families are just as blessed. The

past two years have been so much fun for all of us, but they haven't been

without challenges. When faced with one of those challenges, one of the things

that always picks us up and makes us smile is YOU. Your love for our sons is

heart-warming and your faith in them is inspiring.

So, on behalf of O-Town and their families, I'd like to say thank you for your

support, dedication, hard work, and love. I hope that the new year brings you

all many blessings, as well as many happy O-Town memories!
