Attack of the Saiya-jin instruction manual

Story: There's not much of story here.... it takes place a few months
before the arrival of Radditz and Nappa and Vegeta are doing a routine
planet takeover for Freeza. Freeza had sent Nappa and Vegeta to the
planet Zogat and their mission? to see if the planet is worth anything
in minerals, riches, or any other resource, if it's worthless, the
planet should be destroyed...

The Game: The game is an RPG (Role Playing Game) where you get to move
around your characters and fight monsters to raise experience, the more
experience you raise, the stronger your characters become. There is
some dungeon exploration to do as well. The game is fairly short and
easy to beat, it plays like Final Fantasy so it should be familiar
to you Final Fantasy veterans.

How to play: If you're reading this file, then you must have downloaded
the proper files in a directory of your own choosing

Type in

game

To start the game, once the menu appears, select "VEGETA" and the title
screen should show up, press spacebar to start the game, if you have
any save files, pressing spacebar will open up your save files, if
you wish to begin a new game, select "NEW GAME" on the top.

Main Controls:

MAP SCREEN

Up arrow- Move up
Down arrow- Move down
Left arrow- Move left
Right arrow- Move right

ESC- Head to subscreen

Spacebar: Talk to people, open chests

SUBSCREEN

Items: Shows you what and how many items you have, move the flashing
box with the arrow keys and press spacebar to use an item

Use Autosort to auto arrange the items and use trash to throw an item
away

Spell: Displays which spells you have, Only Vegeta should have one
spell called "Big Bang" once you have got it, Nappa won't have one

Status: Shows the current stats of your character and how much
experience points you need to gain to reach the next level, the more
experience you gain, the higher your stats will go up

Energy- Your current energy/Your Total energy

If your current energy falls down to zero, then your character will die
use a revive to bring your character back to life

Ki- Your current Ki/Your Total Ki

You need Ki to use Vegeta's Big Bang attack, if your current Ki is
zero or below 5, then you cannot use the Big Bang Attack, the only way
to restore your Ki is by raising experience points and gain a level
because of the game engine limitations or I'm so stupid I can't figure
out how to get it to work

Equip- There's nothing to equip in this game because Vegeta and Nappa
have come prepared, so don't even bother to waste you time here

Order- Use this to change who will walk in the front, use the left and
right arrow keys to select who you want to be switched and use
spacebar to switch them around

Map- (Use on Zogat surface only) Use this to view the map to see
where you are

Save- (Use on Zogat surface only) Use this to save your progress on the
world map, so when you start the game again, you can pick up where you
left off, you will still retain you experience points and your items
from where you left off

Quit- Use this to quit the game, move Vegeta to the left to quit
move him to the right to continue playing

Volume- Use this to adjust the music volume, press left and right to
change it higher or lower

Battle Screen: By walking around the map, you will randomly encounter
enemies

Controls

Spacebar- Use selected action

When you begin the battle, Vegeta or Nappa's battle options should
appear, here's what they should be..

Attack
Ki Attack
Item

Attack- Use this to attack an opponent, select attack and use the left
and right arrow buttons to select an enemy

Ki Attack (Vegeta only)- Use this to fire the Big Bang on your
opponents, be warned that you consume Ki when doing this

Item- Use this to use the items you gained

On the top will display Nappa and Vegeta's energy, if one's energy goes
to zero, that person will die, use a heal to restore energy, use a
revive to bring someone back from the dead

After you win the battle, you should gain Zero gold (There's nothing to
buy in this game) and some experience points, most of the time enemies
will leave behind items for you, they will be picked up automatically
and be put into your item screen

Due to some limitation in the game engine, there is no
"run from battle" option, I have no idea why

Items: You gain items through chests, computers and enemies

Heal- Will restore a partial or huge amount of energy

Revive- Will bring an ally back from the dead

Learn Ki- Will give Vegeta the Big Bang attack, but will drain some
of his energy due to some stupid glitch in the game engine

Locations

1. Vegeta and Nappa's spacepods: Talk to the computer to get your
mission briefing and Vegeta's Learn Ki item

2. Planet Zogat surface: Walk around Planet Zogat to encounter enemies
and raise your experience. Make sure you visit the other loacations

3. The Blockade: Seeing a temple in the distance, the Zogats built a
blockade to guard their temple, Nappa and Vegeta must go through the
blockade by an underground cave

4. The Zogat temple: Nappa and Veget are ready to take out the king
but can they penetrate the temple's maze?

Game questions

Q: What did you use to make the game?

A: The Official Hamster Republic RPG Construction engine (O.H.RPG.C.E)

Their site is at

http://www.cyberverse.com/~spam/wander.html

Q: Why does Nappa have white blood?

A: Some glitch I couldn't fix, I made the blood color red but the game
still makes it white

Q: Why are some battles so easy?

A: The Saiya-jin are the most powerful warrior race, DUH!

Q: Why do the chests disappear?

A: Nappa and Vegeta are the type to destroy chests I guess

Q: Why didn't you use VERGE or any other cool editor?

A: Cuz I didn't, so there

Q: Why does Vegeta lose energy when you use the "Learn Ki"?

A: Another stupid glitch

Q: How come Vegeta's eye is gray in the Zogat palace?

A: More dumb glitches

Q: I made it to the end and saved the game! now I'm stuck! what do I
do?

A: You idiot, you shouldn't have saved there! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Q: I use the O.H.R.RPG.C.E. too, can I help you edit the game?

A: Nope, make your own game, I even put a password so you can't edit
it! >:P

Q: Why does the game suck?

A: It's all a matter of opinion, I told you it might suck

Those are all the questions I can think about I guess
