INTRODUCTION
Muslims basically have faith in five things: One God, the Angels, the Prophets, the Holy Books, and the Day of Judgement.
The word “Islam” means “peace, purity, submission, obedience”, and Muslims openly accept God’s authority in all aspects of life for all living beings. By declaring their belief in Him, Muslims are committed to His service.
Muslims believe in Angels as spiritual beings made of light, and who obey God without question. There are angels with special functions, and special significance, for example writing our good and bad deeds, or taking souls from those who die, etc.
Muslims believe that God sent his Prophets and messengers to all people; the first Prophet being Adam, and the last Prophet being Muhammed.
Muslims believe in the God’s Holy Books (in their original form) sent down with His Prophets. There are five: SUHUF (given to Prophet Abraham), ZABUR (given to Prophet David), TAWRAT (“Torah”, given to Prophet Moses), INJEEL (“Bible” given to Prophet Jesus), and the QURAN (“Quran” given to Prophet Muhammed).
Finally, Muslims believe in the Day of Judgement, during which God will judge all people. He will reward those who were good, and punish those who were bad.
