“Uhh…” He slowly woke up. “I told
them not to fix me… I BEGGED them not to… why can’t they understand me…?” But something was different. He opened his
eyes, and to his surprise, he didn’t see any numbers or information about his
body condition. His vision was a bit blurred and the colors’ contrast was low.
“Huh?” He slowly got up and looked at his. What he saw
surprised him! He wasn’t robotic anymore. Instead, his normal, fleshy body was
back and he wore the clothes he had on when he was shot: a purple shirt and his
jeans. He forced back a smile as he pinched him self “AW!” He couldn’t believe
it was true, so he pinched himself again. “I… can feel…” His smile grew “I can
feel… I CAN FEEL!!!”
“BABE!!” He spun around toward the
familiar voice and saw a white-scaled hand waving towards him. She run towards him with all her might. “You came… you finally
came to us!” Babe swallowed hard and hugged her with all his might, also
careful not to hurt her. He forgot that he wasn’t robotic anymore. “Sarah… I…”
He looked into her eyes. “Where am I?”
They held hands as they walked together. “Is this heaven?”
She shrugged. Call it heaven, nirvana, call it whatever you want. All I know is
that we’re together now”. He was about to kiss her again when he heard laughter
and calls. He looked back and saw his old friends, The Deep Rockers, Maik and
all coming towards them. There was laughter and happy screams as they all
hugged each other. But Babe’s smile dropped when he realized someone was
missing.
“Where’s Billy?” He asked, all excited to see his best
friend again. Sarah’s smile dropped. She held him from his hand as she led him
to an edge that looked as if it was some kilometers high from the ground. He
looked down and saw clouds covering everything. With a wave with her hand, the
clouds cleared and Babe could see down on Dragon Isle. The fortress that was
destroyed was now built, and it seemed as if the anthros
were having a good time. No sign of any tanks or robots. Was the war over?
Suddenly, he saw Jesse and Dana walking together, holding hands. Danas’ belly
was a little swollen, which showed how they spent their free time. Babe smiled.
He always knew these two would finally have a child.
“But I don’t see Billy…” suddenly it hit him. “Dana…!?!?!” Sarah nodded. “When he died, he couldn’t make it
without you, and he decided to be reincarnated… You’re soul mates you know… you
should be together…” That shook him. “Sarah no… I don’t want to loose you
again…” He held her close to him. “After all this time we’re finally together…
and you tell me that I must go?” A tear fell down her cheek as she buried her
face in his chest. She hated to see him go, but he had to. “Time here goes by
very fast… I’ll see you again very soon” Without warning, she pushed him over
the cliff. “SARAH!!!!!” She watched him fall. “I love you Babe… I’ll always be
waiting for you”

“Come baby… one more push!” Jesse held Dana’s hand during
the labour. The egg had hatched before its time, and
now she had to give birth to the baby, which was hard. “Come on…” Dana clenched
her teeth “SHUT UP YOU ASHOLE YOU DID THIS TO ME!!” Jesse’s hand ached as she squeezed him.
Finally, with one final push, the baby was out of the womb and into the world.
It immediately began to cry, telling everyone that it’s ok. “Congratulations”
The doctor said as he placed the baby on Dana’s chest. “It’s a boy!”
Dana held the little creature in her arms and smiled. Her
son was a wingless griffin, dark brown feathers along his body and light chest
and neck. Jimmy had a baby brother now. “He’s beautiful…” She said. Jesse
nodded as he gently stroked the little baby’s head. The baby yawned, struggled
around a bit and went too sleep. “How are we gonna call him?” He asked her.
Dana looked at the peaceful face of the baby. One name came to her mind
“I wanna call him… Babe.”
