Some time
after the LORD had led his first people to the land where they would one day claim, He looked out over the world, and saw that there were
some dragons that were not corrupted by the false promises of Satan. He chose
one of them to speak to. The name of that dragon was Kardanath. The LORD spoke
to Kardanath in the form of a great shining light, so that all the dragons
nearby would see this, and they gathered to that place, along with the
griffons, unicorns, and pegasi. The LORD spoke unto Kardanath, saying that He
has seen that they were uncorrupted, and has decided to save them. Kardanel
replied, asking how would they know that they would be
saved. The LORD replied, "I shall grant unto you and all your kind, and
all the kind of those here, the form and likeness of My
chosen ones." And so, all gathered there were wreathed in a great light,
and in that light, they learned the way to become the way the LORD had made for
them to be. Unused to
such conditions as nakedness,
> having never previously needing any form
of covering, the LORD clothed them and instructed them in the making of
garments. But Kardanath again cried out, proclaiming,
"LORD, we thank you for this gift. But, if we were to be beset upon by
others of this world, how shall we defend ourselves, as we have in the
past?" Again, the LORD spoke unto Kardanath, "For your safety, I
shall give you all the ability to go back to the form you once were. And,
because of this, you all shall enter the world this way, in your form before
this covenant. But, this shall be limited, as I am making this transformation a
part of your boy's natual works. So, in time, you shall have to adapt, and
change the way the humans shall. And, for all here to be of one people, I shall
change you to be able to bear children with any of those assembled here, and
their children, and their children unto the ending of the world. The children
of these such unions shall be barren and unable to
bear children, except for those
> of this kind that I shall ordain to be
able to do so. Their place shall be to take in to their household the
parentless young of the people, and treat them as their own. I shall give you
all My laws, so that you shall not fall into the
darkness, as many of your kind have done. If you uphold My
laws, and the laws that I shall write upon all of your hearts, your place shall
be with me, and never shall you know the long death."

>Then He
imparted unto them His law, and sent them into the world with the knowledge
that they would need, so that they would be ahead of those who had a greater
chance to flourish than they. And, knowing the destruction to be unleashed upon
them by those of His people who knew not of the dragons uncorrupted by the
darkness, he set aside the part of the world where the corrupted were living,
and eradicated all but a few of the corrupted. And He purified the
