It's like being a kid again
Since the demise of my Spectrum ZX Sinclair I have not really been into gaming. The SEGA and Nintendo systems didn't really ring my bell. Even PC based games have not really grabbed my attention. This all changed over New Year's when I played SingStar on a PlayStation. Since being classed as a 'Wannabe' it has been on my mind to treat myself to a PS2 - thinking that with the release of the PS3 imminent, they'll be cheaper now! This weekend I was out shopping and saw a PS2 bundle in the shop - the machine, along with a copy of SingStar and Buzz (a music based quiz). I resisted the temptation, came home and looked on Amazon. In fact, it was cheaper in the shop than on-line, so like a child, rather than wait less than 2 months before my birthday, I got the car out the garage, drove back into town and bought the bundle. Susanna and I had a game of Buzz last night (I won) and I then went on to spend far too many hours on Gran Turisimo 4. My sister-in-law came around this afternoon and we took part in a number of SingStar battles - I see a karaoke party coming up in the very near future! So, if anyone reading this could let me know what other games I can buy to catch up on all that time I should have wasted in my 20's I'd be grateful! 2006-03-26 16:39:15 GMT

Try the Eye Toy games, a perfect opportunity to dance around like a complete wally especially at parties after a couple of beers. Mind you in all seriousness my kids like it but you may find it a little bit too much of a gimmick after a while. Personally I'm with you on the gran turismo type stuff. I even bought a steering wheel and pedals (for my son obviously!)
