Last night I was brave enough to direct a friend towards this blog.  He was honest enough to tell me his opinion and give some advice - hence the entry title -  thanks Paul!  I'm going to resist the temptation to delete my previous entries, but will start off on a new tangent.

Heard this story last week, which made me laugh:

A guy was on a first date, things were going well and he invited his date back to his house.  They'd just got back from having a curry and before things started to develop in a more carnal direction he needed to drop off the kids in the pool. 

However, the house was a new build and the walls were literally paper thin.  The acoustics in the toilet meant that what happened inside actually sounded louder than if it was done on the outside.  This would certainly dampen the mood.  So thinking on his feet the guy asked the girl if she'd like a cup of coffee.

He went out into the kitchen, shut the door, put a load of newspaper onto the floor, squatted and started to go through the motions when all of a sudden the kitchen door opened and the girl stood in the doorway, mouth agog.

An apocryphal tale?  Maybe, but it certainly made me laugh.
