So, what have we learnt today?
3 or 4 helpings of stuff and nonsense every week. Come and get it while it's hot.
My Podcast Addiction

I'm not very good at this blogging at the moment - I suppose it's because I am writing to an invisible audience and it's hard to determine what to write.

This year seems to have been the year of podcasting for me so far.  Since getting my MP3 player for Christmas I have been making the most of the available content on the web.  I started off with the standard downloads from BBC - Moyles and Evans and the ever popular Ricky Gervais podcast.

As mentioned in my previous posting, next came The Geoff Show podcast from Virgin.  I was always keen on Pete and Geoff, but the poor 1215 signal both here in Cornwall and in my previous home of Yeovil always prevented Virgin from being my first station of choice - I heard parts of their drivetime show occassionally and liked what I heard.  Then as I found out they were doing the breakfast show, tuned the clock radio in to hear bits of the 6:00 - 7:00 segment.  It wasn't until I got into podcasting that I could listen to most of their content - alas this came towards the end of the partnership and things were starting to become a little tired.  Nevertheless I found and downloaded every episode I could from Odeo, going back to July and set about listening to these, whilst keeping up with the new installments of the solo Geoff show.

In addition to these radio podcasts, whilst Googling for Victor Lewis-Smith I happened upon Radio Clash podcast - a mix of mashups and a very wide selection of music - both serious and fun.  Again, bowing to my autistic tendencies I had to download the whole back catalogue and spent a sizeable proportion of time catching up on the previous shows.

My I-Tunes podcast page now has 19 subscribed channels, with me finding others as I go along.  However, now I have decided that if I find a new stream I will listen to it as it comes out, but not try and capture the full back catalogue.  I am in a position now where I am I up to date and able to listen to the casts as they come in.

My new worry is that I am looking at getting a new car, but without a tape converter I wonder how I will listen to the MP3 player in the carm without breaking the law here in the UK and using an FM transmitter.

I found it hard to write to an invisible audience too, even though I don't aim for fame (!)
