I guess I should introduce myself here. Hi, my name is Hannah, I'm 18
years old, I live in the United States, and I have Asperger's Syndrome (otherwise known
as "AS"). "What is Asperger's Syndrome?" you ask? Well, Asperger's
(pronounced ass-per-girs) Syndrome is a form of high-functioning autism. I like to think of
it as "social dyslexia" since it does cause me (and many other Aspies
(people with Asperger's Syndrome)) to miss some social cues. If you want a REALLY in-depth

(OASIS: Online Asperger's Syndrome Information and Support), has many resources for
everyone from the casual "neuro-typical" (person without AS), to the Aspie who was diagnosed
30 years ago, and for everyone in-between. No, I don't own that site, I'm just promoting it
because I like it and use it often. I am also actively affiliated with the
AANE: Asperger's Association of New England, and have even given a speech at an AANE
event.
Hmm, what else? Oh, I am currently attending Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts. I am studying to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a
Xanga and a LiveJournal, as well as a Photobucket album,
for those of you who like this site and want to know more about me. Oh, and you can also
email me (no IMs, though, please! Thanks!) or sign my guestbook (down at the bottom of the page) to let me know how you
like my site, or any changes you might want me to make, any info you want to know...basically
anything other than-spam/viruses/trojan horses-you can send to me. Although if you're just
going to swear at me and/or berate me for twenty-five straight lines in an email, I'd rather
