I realize it has been a while since I blogged.  The depression got the better of me the past several days and I've been hiding I guess.  Do you ever feel that way?  You don't even want to get out of bed in the morning.  Tonight I feel a little better and hope to be coming out of the fog.

 

I hope everyone had a good July 4th holiday weekend.  My daughter and my grandson spent Saturday and Sunday with us.  It was great!  She treated me and her dad to dinner on Saturday night.  Sunday we went to the only drive through cave in the state.  I'd been through Fantastic Caverns once or twice before but really enjoyed it this time.

 

After the cave trip we went to McSalty's Pizza and stuffed ourselves.  Later that evening we had a good game of Scrabble. (that's my favorite game of all)  My grandson is only 10 but he keeps his mom and I on our toes throughout the game.

 

My fond memory of the weekend with loved ones has kept me going this week.  My family means the world to me.
