Yesterday was a ladies day out for me and my daughter-in-law.  She picked me up in the late morning and we went to a wonderful place for lunch......an old fashioned tea room. 

 

The decorating at the tea room was beautiful and the food was especially yummy.  They had quiche which I love and haven't had for some time.  We shared a dessert....chocolate caramel cheesecake.  It was grrrrreat!

 

After our lunch we shopped in some nearby antique shops/flea markets.  The only thing I bought was a very old ladies bright blue hankerchief.  It is made of the most unusual fabric.....I don't know what it is and the seller didn't know either.  It's a beautiful hanky.

 

We also shopped at a large purse and jewelry store which neither of us had ever visited before.  Prices were reasonable and there was every kind of fashion jewelry you could imagine.  We did a lot of looking but neither of us bought a thing.
