How Do You Mean?
My usually strong opinion on various random matters that I come across as I go about living.
Cameras
I have been interested in getting a digital camera for a while. Or rather for a while, I have been interested in getting a digital camera.
My interest increased when my pal Terence said one advantage is that you can take 200 pictures, discard the bad ones and keep the good. Main problem has been digital camera prices have not been falling much locally, especially compared to computers and computer peripherals. The average price for major brands seems to be about 15,000/= shillings (That's about US $ 220.00).

I asked a pal who works abroad if he has one, what to look for etc. ( I had downloaded how-to- guides and so on, but hadn't really read them).
He offered to sell me his, coz he wants to buy a higher-spec one. He eventually brought it for me to try. If I like, I buy. and I could pay in instalments.

I liked it almost immediately, especially when I learnt it can shoot video as well :)
It's a Sony DSC-P150.

About a week after getting it, I noticed a leading electronics shop, Ebrahim's Electronics, (which incidentally used to be Ebrahim's Camera House) was offering the Sony DSC-S650 for 11,484/=. The specs seem to be comparable, but I wouldnt have the option to pay in instalments.
The DSC-S650 has the advantage of using AA batteries. You can compare the two side-by-side at http://www.dpreview.com/

I looked for, found and eventually printed the manual. Still reading it. So now I will have many snaps of Christy and some video-clips :-)

Oh, I have a film camera, a Canon Prima
The birthday photo in my last entry was taken using the digicam.
