Went bowling yesterday with the Young Adults Fellowship (of http://www.icc-kenya.org). Actually there was mini-golf and dinner as well. It was all quite nice. I was quite impressed by the fully automated bowling alley(?). You throw the ball and it does all the counting for you, and even gives tips about your next throw. This may be something some of you are used to but hey, it was my first time bowling.
I think when/if you knock down the pins, the machines picks up the standing ones and counts them, and by subtracction, tells how many you knocked down. Yes I figured that out all by myself.
I scored 83. I intend to go back with friends who are willing and able to compete. The team I was with was rather quiet.
Would have liked to have a strike.
Got a ride home (or to a place near home) after the event. That was past midnight, I think.
Got up about 9:00 am this morn. Got late for a 10:00 appointment. (Old habits still fighting for life). I tried to compensate by footing a the bills associated with the meeting.
Went for drama rehearsals. We are to stage a play on 5th and 12th March. Probably after that I will have posted something about that.
It is so very hot nowadays (the weather, that is).
Got a text message cancelling a 6:00 appointment. Other plans also got re-arranged. Bah! Ok, it was going to be a tight evening, but I was looking fwd to those appointments.
