Yesterday I went for a Valentine's dinner with a friend of mine. The dinner was organised by True Love Waits. We had a few people talk to us briefly (mainly about the reasons to wait). (For those of us who don't know what the waiting is about, it is waiting until marriage before having sex.)

One lady asked, would you marry yourself if asked to?

Another reduced it to basics: Life is about Pain and Pleasure. The things we do or don't do ultimately lead to either pain or pleasure. Look at the big picture. Will what you do cause pain or pleasure in the long run?

The first guy to speak simply told us to get on with the good things we can do in life so we can also perhaps be called "Abraham The Great" (or equivalent)  like Alexander the Great was called. (Ok I have summarised that part a bit too much.

The food was okay.

Mbuvi sang quite well.
