Today in New England
Since moving to New Hampshire, many things have happened that I have wanted to share!
One of the more frightening days.
Well, today in New England was unlike any other. It seems that it's that way most of the time. But today, at my place of employment (Measured Progress, a test scoring firm) a woman collapsed at her desk. Reports say she stood up then fell over - all I heard was the sound of her head hitting the floor. Everyone was stunned - the paramedics were called as she remained unconscious. Eventually, the report that filtered to our side of the room was that she was awake - the paramedics took her away anyhow. Truly, one of the more frightening days. I suppose this could happen anywhere, at any job. It makes me think, though, that I should probably get my CPR certification - and meditate more.

The day's not over yet - gone to look at townhouses (for rent - sigh in relif, mom) and will work on my resume's tonight.

Peace.

I was thinking on life the other day...you know, God has given us a great gift in refining our spirits and presenting us with the ability to truly empathize with others. Not everyone can come through this mess of life unscathed, but I think we may have made a pretty good attempt at beautifying the scars. Think of all you have seen and been through at your young age...I'm not sure I am saying this correctly, but there are blessings in this amazing pain. And the pain will stop and the blessings remain. Just learn from the past and try to objectify it just enough to keep it from haunting you. You'll be a great gift to those who have the privilege of meeting you.
