The brand new series of Dr Who has just started running here I 've been watching it since I was a tiny tot( missed the episodes with the first doctor  wasnt even born then)used to hide behind the lounge when the music came on but I did watch it,Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker episodes were my favorites those ones have been on Austar here at 5.30 in the afternoons I have been re watching them  can't belive how bad the effects are but I spose thats what you get on a realy low budget. In this new series the doctor ( Christopher Eccleston ) is  manipulative but he has learned how to use a telephone,the effects are great, the inside of the TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space)  looks terrible not sure whats happenend to it and his "companion"( Billie Piper ) she isn't an unknown she has had appearances on Eastenders and has had a singing career, Christopher Eccleston was in Shallow Grave, eXistenZ and Gone in Sixty Seconds but then Jon Pertwee was a shakesperian actor and was in lots of movies before he was Dr Who        My favorite episode....... the 30 year aniverasry special had all 5 doctors  very well done seeing as William Hartnell had died a few years before

I have allways loved science fiction  Dr Who is the reason why
