Last night after 'Essence' (Saturday May 4) screened, the announcer told viewers that next weeks' episode 'Existence' was "the last episode of The X-Files ever made".
This is NOT TRUE!!!
Clearly TVNZ doesn't want to pay for season 9, even though there are heaps of us dedicated fans out there who are dying to see it! Particularly given that David Duchovny has returned for the final couple of episodes... and that movies are planned for after the end of the series.
I urge you all to contact people, email TVNZ (tv2.nzoom.com), write letters to editors, do something! Anything!
This is disgusting that TVNZ would blatantly LIE to viewers. They owe it to us to screen season 9. I haven't been watching the show for 8 years for it to be pulled out from under me at the last minute.
(plus have they forgotten that *kiwi* Lucy Lawless is in season 9??)
