( !! Read It All Before You Try Your Luck !! )
First here is a Screenshot of my inventory and armor that I use
** super restore is there for use after I battle Ahrim and Kharil.
to replace the stats dropped while fighting them - also it replaces your prayer that you have used
(Personally I use the slayer dart, but you can use other spells if you don�t have the required slayer or mage level to use that spell)
Barrows also drain your prayer when you are underground whether you are using it or not, also now and then it takes a whack of 12 from your prayer so
BE CAREFUL!!!
Barrows is set out like this
VERAC DHAROK
(the defiled) (the wretched)
AHRIM
(the blighted)
TORAG GUTHAN
(the corrupted) (the infested)
KHARIL
(the tainted)
Dig on the mounds to break into the brothers tombs put prayer on and search the coffins, if you find a tunnel in the coffin (as this will be your entrance tunnel to the catacombs), leave it till you have killed the other 5 brothers or you will have to battle the remaining brothers in the tunnel
Battles:
VERAC: Combat level: 115
ATTACK: with Mage.....-.....PRAYER: Protect against Melee
(and mystic might if you have it)
He can hit thru prayer so BE EXTRA VIGILANT and watch yourself.
As long as you watch yourself in there - food at the ready, you should be fine
(this one I say is the hardest and if he�s in your tunnel good luck)
DHAROK: Combat level: 115
ATTACK with Mage.....-.....PRAYER: Protect against Melee
Don�t let your prayer drop while fighting this Brother as he will hit you HARD!
Shouldn�t be to hard just DONT let your prayer drop
AHRIM: Combat level: 98
ATTACK with Range.....-.....PRAYER: Protect against Magic
His spells of weaken and confuse will hit thru your mage prayer but don�t
cause you damage, use super restore pot after your battle to replenish the stats dropped
TORAG: Combat level: 115
ATTACK with Mage.....-.....PRAYER: Protect against Melee
Should not be to hard just keep your prayer levels up
GUTHAN: Combat level: 115
ATTACK with Mage.....-.....PRAYER: Protect against Melee
Again this brother should be a breeze as long as you keep your prayer up
( might take a little longer to kill as he does heal against you even if he didn�t cause you damage )
KHARIL: Combat level: 98
ATTACK with Melee.....-.....PRAYER: Protect against Range
His attack drops your agility but as you don�t need agility its not important
but as it does drop this stat I thought I should mention it
just keep prayer up and should not take to long
Once you have killed the 5 brothers you are ready for your tunnel to the catacombs
Tunnel:
have the appropriate attack ready and set yourself to run
Now every time you open a door a monster will spawn and attack you, there is a chance that it will be the remaining brother you will have to
battle so keep an eye on your prayer and be ready to stick on the appropriate prayer and attack him
Also down here your prayer drains fast so until you kill the 6th brother keep an eye on it

In the first room you will only be let through one door after that remember the path you take if you plan to run out or just take the easy way and tele using ecto...
Once you find your door into the middle room you will be presented with a puzzle lock (see the pics below to see the answers to these puzzles)...
be quick but careful to answer as you will be attacked while trying to unlock the door and if you get it wrong the catacombs will move about changing
the location of the room you came in and the door you have to open into the middle
your 6th brother has NOT appeared PUT YOUR PRAYER ON NOW as he will spawn
when you open the chest, kill the brother and take your reward from the chest
*NOTE* you are not guaranteed to get an barrows item on every barrows run but you will get runes and gp ( amount and type vary )
Kill count does not affect your chances of getting a barrows item either
tele out ( or run out if you can remember your path )
REMEMBER TO WATCH YOUR PRAYER LEVELS
